For over 40 years, Derroll Tozer has been providing fine upholstery, furniture restoration and bespoke furniture to private clients, interior designers and antique dealers throughout Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks, West Kent and the surrounding areas.

Unlike modern commercial upholstery, traditional upholstery is a highly skilled craft that takes years to master. Derroll completed a full classical apprenticeship, learning every stage of the trade under experienced master upholsterers. From stripping furniture and preparing frames to webbing, stitching, button making, fabric cutting, traditional stuffing and the final finishing touches, every skill was developed through years of practical experience.
Training also extended beyond the workshop, visiting customers' homes, antique dealers and specialist furniture collections to study period furniture, construction methods and traditional craftsmanship. One principle guided every stage of that training:
"If it isn't right, do it again."
